About Us

PhoneCases4Ewe is a family owned and operated business, located on our grandfather Joe's original farm. Every member of the Eckman family gets into the action. Over the years we have had cows, sheep, horses, pigs, goats, and chickens on our little farm. This has provided our children with the great opportunity to do chores, learn how to work, and to take responsibility. All skills that can be put to us in our family business.

Bruce started his first business at age 5, and has operated different businesses for over 48 years. He is currently the President/CEO of EZ-NetTools Inc. Over the years he has had experience in marketing, advertising, graphic design, photography, and printing.

Mechele earned a degree in Home Economics and has worked as a home economist extension agent and also in the self reliance industry. She has actively created her own clothing from a young age as well as created clothing for our family. She enjoys knitting and other crafts.

Our six children, ranging from age 13 to age 22, have all taken part in phonecases4ewe. Jamie currently designs our custom phone cases while our other children have worked hard creating cases and selling them at local craft fairs.

About Our Cases

Our unique phone cases are created through a special process called sublimation. Sublimation occurs when a solid dye is heated and transitions into a gaseous phase. These dyes can then be used to create beautiful and unique images.

We start by printing a digital image, that we have created or you have provided, with sublimatable ink onto transfer paper. We then secure the transfer paper to a special polyester coated metal plate and heat the two together. As the ink is heated it transitions into a gaseous state and binds to the polyester fibers. Because the ink is sublimated into the polyester coating the colors will not fade or wear off. After the plate has been sufficiently heated the product is a bright, vibrant, and durable custom image.
